History and Impact

Since 1994, the family of the founder (the Tsung Family) has been responsible for creating financial technology across the U.S. market. Franklin's father founded digiTRADE, the first online brokerage platform that transformed financial institutions by giving them the enterprise platform to launch B2B, B2C, B2B2C brokerage platforms that used the internet for online stock quotes, online stock trading, and online annuity transactions. Thomson Financial acquired digiTRADE in 98 (see here).
